I bought this beanie specifically because it is cotton. The wool ones do not capture sweat to well and are kinda itchy. I work out a lot and sweat gets in my eyes so I bought this to capture sweat... headbands look dumb. The beanie stretches out well but does not retract, so I have to wash them every 2 times I wear them so they shrink to regular size.
